Steve was born in Toronto but moved to Salmon Arm when he was nine and has lived and worked here ever since. Prior to Real Estate, Steve first worked for and then owned Reliable Garbage Disposal in Salmon Arm. After selling the business Steve decided to use his knowledge of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap area, along with his communication skills and network in the community, to become a REALTOR®. He successfully completed the Real Estate course and joined the Shirley Real Estate Ltd. team in 1997.
Steve is currently the top contributor to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation for his office. This foundation supports local Women's Shelters and Violence Prevention Programs through partial donations of Steve's fees. Steve serves his peers and professional community too is serving on the 2013/2014 Board of Directors for OMREB (Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board). He has served on the BC Real Estate Association's Government Relations Committee (2011-2014) and is currently Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee.
