Steven was born in Toronto, Ontario, but moved to Salmon Arm when he was nine years old and has lived and worked here ever since.

Prior to Real Estate, Steven first worked for and then owned Reliable Garbage Disposal in Salmon Arm along with his wife Sherry. After selling the business in 1995, Steve decided to use his knowledge of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap area, along with his communication skills and connections in the community, to successfully complete the Real Estate course. In 1997 he joined the Shirley Real Estate Ltd. Team.

Steven is currently a director with the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board . He has been active in the community by volunteering with the Salmon Arm Minor Softball Association for many years as a coach; and he was a director with Shuswap Kid Sport as well as being involved with the Salmon Arm Men's Golf Club.

Steven and Sherry have 3 children, Suzanne - 27, Branden - 22, and Sharlette - 20
